Volthium 51.2V 100Ah Self-Heating battery

Volthium’s 51.2 V 100 Ah – ABS Battery in 8D format is specially manufactured for customers of boats equipped with inverters, such as sailboats or for motorized vehicles, cottages and houses.
Like all our batteries over 100 Ah, they have easy and reserved access for the BMS. This access makes it easy to repair if necessary.
This battery features a Volthium-exclusive housing offering 2 RJ45 ( Ethernet) communication ports allowing the transmission of internal data from the battery to the monitoring systems. Our 51.2 V 100 Ah – ABS battery, with or without built-in self-heating system, use MODBUS, and CANBUS communication protocols. They can therefore, via their RJ45 ports, communicate directly with all the inverters available on the market such as Schneider, Victron, Solark, Luxpowertek etc.

In addition, the box is equipped with a stainless steel on/off button, allowing you to deactivate the discharge, while allowing recharging. Extremely convenient when you want to leave batteries plugged into the solar system during storage, while eliminating the fear of them being drained by parasitic discharges.
By adding our Smart Bridge to their system, the user can access the dedicated Volthium app allowing them to access, via Bluetooth, all relevant data from their battery. The user can also set up audible and/or visual alerts to be notified before the batteries are automatically switched off.
The user will be able to set an alert for a specific %SOC, of their choice, in addition to determining a warning alert for high temperature, and low temperature. This feature is available on several Volthium Batteries and allows you to comply with the requirements of ABYC (e.g. Standard E-13).

The battery is also equipped with an incoming charge current regulator (DC-DC @ 9Amp) and the Soft Start feature to pre-charge capacitors is also integrated. Not only is this LiFePO4 battery vibration-resistant, but it has a higher discharge range than the competition.
Indeed, this battery can be discharged down to -25 degrees, instead of -20 degrees for competition. And if you opt for the self-heating version, it can be recharged down to -40 degrees! This innovation is possible thanks to the high quality of the cells used in Volthium batteries (cells from the automotive industry).

BMS:
The core of the BMS is produced by the American company Texas Instrument. This manufacturer of BMS microcontrollers is recognized worldwide in the field of electric automobiles, in addition to being known for its long-standing collaboration with NASA and the U.S. Army. The programming and communication protocols are entirely developed by our engineers in Quebec.

Cells:
The quality of LFP cells is paramount. Indeed, it is what ensures that you have a durable product whose long-term performance will be faithful. All our battery models are equipped with Grade A+ cells from the automotive industry.
